I just bought a 6 pack of Hoegaarden for €3.76 (actually they say €3,76 - with the comma, but whatever...).
€3.76! For Hoegaarden! 6 of them!! The conversion rate, as it stands today, puts that at $6.30 in Aussie dollars (or bucks). For Hoegaarden! 6 of them!!
And during today's research into Australian beers abroad (in time for Australia day) I heard that it costs around €5 (8.36 bucks) for a VB at the aussie themed tourist pub. Has the world gone crazy! Global warming. Terrorism. And now this!
